Repair/replacement denied

I bought a wardrobe in Bradlows Khayelitsha mall on March 2022 then it was delivered to my home address and I wasn't there to check on it then the very same week I was off and went home and checked on it as I was about to move it to my flat I noticed that the drawers were broken the corners and I called khayelitsha Branch and I informed them because I didn't want to move it as I knew they will come with their excuses once I move it but they sales consultant lady that helped me when I was buying it at the Branch advised that I move it with the drawers to the new place so that she will inform them to come to my flat address but when they came to look at it they went to my home address and they were told that it was moved to my flat address and they left and they didn't inform the branch up until I phoned following up that's when they told me that they sent people from repairs and they said they going to call them and find out...still they never phoned me back to give me an update up until I phoned again following up and then I was told that they said they can't replace the drawers because I have removed the wardrobe they can only fix them at my own costs.....how come!!!!
