Pathetic Service

We purchased a lounge suite at Bradlows. Just over a year later when my husband opened the recliner, *****s etc fell out. We phoned the Lephalale Branch where we purchased it and they informed me that we still have a warranty till May 2018 for any problems with the lounge suite. Two guys came in beginning of Nov to collect the 3-seater. No paperwork or any documentation was given to me that they collected the couch. They informed me it will take 4 weeks max to be fixed. That same day I realized that the lounge suite were not genuine leather. When we purchased the lounge suite they told us its genuine leather. With interest etc it cost us just under the R 30 000. (My first complaint)

After 4 weeks we contacted the branch to find out where our couch was. Only *********** staff were available as the manager was off sick. For two weeks while she was in hospital, nobody at that branch were able to assist me in telling me where the couch was. We ended up at phoning the Regional Manager and he could not help us too, because the manager of Lephalale Branch did not leave any documentation where they could follow up where the couch was. Nobody could help me. Someone phoned my husband and told him that they are going to replace the couch. But we did not hear from them again. When the manager eventually returned from sick leave she tried to follow up and informed me that they told her that the couch was fixed at my house and they never collected it. Which is untrue. The next day she after I contacted her again she told me that the couch will be delivered the next day. I changed my appointments to be at home if they come to deliver. Nobody came. Wasting my time. They contacted my husband and said that the couch is somewhere in Rosslyn, Pretoria. They also contacted my husband and say that we must go to the branch and collect a lounge suite while we are waiting for our couch. Why must we go and collect it???

After few days they informed us the couch is not fixed yet. After 7 weeks!!!!!!!

I phoned head office again and some lady told me that I must wait for Bradlows to contact me. I have people over for Christmas and my lounge suite is not completed. This is unacceptable.

Never ever again I will support Bradlows again!!
