JD Group is disgusting
Not sure if this is the right place for this but I would like to inquire about the legality of JD Group applying for the return to work for stage 4 for the purposes of selling Bedding and laptops and also their refusal to pay salaries when staff do not work. Bradlows is a high end furniture store under JD Group and does not specialise nor have sufficient stock of laptops and only has a limited stock of very expensive duvet covers (as I understand Beds are not part of bedding and cannot be sold during level 4). They are putting the lives of their staff at risk for very minimal if any profit. Furthermore JD Group had told all staff to either take their paid leave or to take unpaid leave for the time of lockdown. Now when they want to resume work they doing so with a rotating staff and those who do not work on a particular wont get paid that day, and their leave is obviously already exhausted.
