Insurance issues!!

Good day. My laptop which I purchased from a bradlows store has recently stopped working i.e the screen does not light up. I took the laptop to my bradlows store and was told that it is no longer on warranty. I accepted that fact then I asked about the insurance I took out on the Laptop (Through bradlows using Abacus insurance). The insurance product I took out was the Comprehensive Insurance Product. Mind you, the consultant tells me that the insurance only covers the laptop for theft, loss or WHEN MY HOUSE IS BURNING AND THE LAPTOP GETS BURNT ALONG WITH IT. I was further advised to take my faulty laptop to a repair store where to have it diagnosed. I did this and found out what the fault it. My issue with bradlows is how the consultant told me that the laptop is only covered for my house burning down ect. However when I took out the insurance I was told the insurance will cover ACCIDENTAL DAMAGE. Please guys I pay you all my hardworks tears and sweat. The least you could do is just be on my side.
