Hidden Warranty Terms

i recently purchased a 4 plate stove from Bradlows Mayibuye branch.

The Stove had a one plate cracked within 2 months and not working, the other one the metal casing on top covering the plates stated pealing off.

i communicated with the shop and they logged in a call, a technician come to make an assessment where he concluded the cracked plate was due to negligence and did not comment on the pealing off of the covers.

I took up the inquiry with the branch manager then David who also tried to assist me and came back with the feedback that warranty does not cover plates and metal casing. The issue had 2 more calls logged in to come and inspect the state of the plate to no avail. His feed back was call was being logged to the same technician who kept poring water on it.

I'm left with 2 installments to finish paying for which i told David i will stop paying until my matter is resolved. David took it up with his the relevant authorize requesting for a a replacement of the unit and came back with the same feedback that warranty doesn't cover damaged plates and the pealing off of the metal casing is negligence.

As a consumer i feel i was sold a faulty product and i honored my part by paying my installment whilst they dragged their feet. end result my name will be listed as a bad debtor as i'm expected to continue paying for a faulty product. All this happened within this year.

Please assist.
