Failure to deliver

I ordered a 3 piece lounge set and paid upfront with the arrangement to deliver on a specific date. The date rolls around, and I get told the set would be delivered the next day. The next day, I get told the next Monday. At this point we don't have anything to sit on since the set that was pre ordered a month in advanced as not been delivered. The arrangements was made a month in advance to make sure the set arrives when we move in to our house. After going back and forth, the saleswoman arranged for a damaged set to be delivered to us to borrow until our set arrives, as an apology for the delay. For which we were very grateful. She really tried to help us. Unfortunately, no effort was made to expedite the correct delivery. As of today we still have not received our new set. We have spoken to the branch and the head office. If an issue or plan of action was clearly communicated, it's one thing, we are reasonable people. Unfortunately, we are not getting answers and there is apparently no communication between the warehouse and the local branch. We are always urged to support local businesses, but we will not be buying there again.
