Damaged my credit profile

A little story about Bradlows. I took a washing machine on Credit during last September which I went to the store to settle in January. The store gave me the amount and I paid it then asked them to close the account. February I started gettig messages that my account is in arreas, mind if that account had a debit mendate so they could've debited during the debit day on January but they did not and the account was reported as closed at Experian. They did not debit again during February then March they reopened the account in an arreas stutus during March. I payed the R177.97 which they said it was outstanding but too bad my credit profile had already been ruined by people who made a mistake and made me pay for something I had already paid. I have never seen a company which doesn't want to take responsibility for poor staff training when handling finances. Lesson learnt.
