Damaged Appliances

Date and time of complaint September 30, 2017 9:20 AM Name of the supplier Bradlows Customer name Genial Moroka Reason for using getclosure! They are not helping. I've been suffering for 6 weeks with their **** up. I mean 6 weeks is ridiculous. Nature of complaint The goods I purchased were damaged Complaint description I paid a deposit on a defy fridge and washing machine lay-bye on 27 July 2017 on the 29 August 2017 I went to pay the deposit. It was a Friday morning @ 10:02:12 Bradlows in Promenade Mitchells plain, so I assumed they would deliver the same day or at least the next day which was a Saturday.

I received the appliances on 30 September 2017. The goods came wrapped in plastic wrap. There was form on the Washing machine and a note that says "could not inspect properly" All looked well from the outside because being concerned about the fact that there was no box I only looked for scratches on the outside.

The fridge was broken several places the rubber between the doors was coming off. The washing machine does not work properly soon as its filled with water it goes into spin. I cant just wash it tells me what to do instead of the other way around. And the people at the store said I'm using it wrong they refuse to have it picked up. They said they will send a technician. Not minding the fact that I said I no longer want their products as they are ******* I just want my money.

The fridge was picked up on 15 October 2017. It will take then 4 to 5 days to get that money in my bank but I'm still sitting with a cheeky washing machine that is wasting water in this water crisis we are in.

The service has been horrible from the consultants to the manager. Whilst I was awaiting the delivery I called to cancel the purchase and the consultant Ella would not hear of it.

My rights as a consumer were violated in so many ways and so many times. All the lost time dealing with this mess and the stress it added onto my life. I now have headaches because I paid +- R12 000 and not once did I benefit from this I could've gone to Lewis or Game and got my stuff in 2 days without any hassles. The name Bradlows makes me sick. I want my money back or I'm taking Legal action I'm so sick of this back and forth.
