Broken Fridge

Bought a 300 lt sansui tempered glass door fridge from Russelfs Bradlows Bluff Towers, supposed to be shatterproof, had it for two weeks, the first installment wasn't even due until today 30th September. On the second week, freezer door showed signs of shattering, called Bradlows, very next day, they claim its my fault, basically they refuse to replace fridge or fix door. I have a two year that picks up anything and puts it in her mouth, How can it be my fault when all that was done was the door been opened? Bradlows sales agents are persistent on the fact that I have to replace door on my own, how can this be when they haven't even checked the fridge properly or sent it in for repairs themselves when I am paying for insurance?
