Bradlows/Morkels/Lewis unsatisfactory aftersales assistance

Never buy from any Bradlows store, especially there Umgeni Road store. Rather go to a more reputable company than them. There aftersales and complaints department are useless. Ntokozo is useless as a so called Branch Manager. When my lounge suite was first delivered, the reclining mechanism did not work. Although this was eventually repaired, I am now facing another serious issue: the seat fabric is fading. A company representative (Rian) inspected the lounge suite and attributed this to sun damage. However, this explanation is not acceptable, as the section exposed to the sun remains unaffected while the seating area continues to fade. This was clearly noted on the job card during the inspection.

Despite this, I have been informed that the company is not willing to repair or refund the item. To make matters worse, I have repeatedly had to chase feedback myself, as no one from your team calls back with updates. Even after escalating the matter to the complaints department, I still have to continually follow up. This level of service is unacceptable and falls far below the standard expected from a reputable retailer. When I spoke to Gugu from V&V Creations, she had no knowledge of my query. So, I don’t know how Bradlows has closed this case. By the way, Bradlows get there furniture made by other companies, in this case, V&V Creations. So, when looking for furniture, never go to Bradlows/Morkels/Lewis or any of the then reputable companies. They dont care anymore.
