Bradlows Sold Faulty Couch – Refuses Refund After 2 Years of Repairs

We bought a couch cash from Bradlows Matatiele in May 2023. It arrived damaged, and despite promises, it was never replaced — only repaired multiple times.

We have reported this issue repeatedly. Every time we complain, they close the case, change managers, and delay. The couch has been taken twice for repairs, and still not replaced.

Even the new manager tried to help us, but head office scolded them for advocating on our behalf. Now, after almost 2 years, they are claiming the product is out of warranty — even though the original defect was reported immediately.

We refuse to accept the same repaired couch again. We demand a full refund or brand-new replacement. This is a violation of our consumer rights. Complaint has now been lodged with the Consumer Goods and Services Ombud (CGSO).
