BRADLOWS PATHETIC SERVICE!!! DEFECTIVE GRAFTON EVEREST COUCH

MO-GRAF-*** - I purchased a Grafton Everest couch from Bradlows Parow in January 2021 and paid cash. They delivered the couch with stitching that was coming undone. We contacted the store and was advised that they were out of stock and it would take approximately 6 weeks for the couch to be replaced. They replaced the couch some time in February and much to our dismay, the replacement was far more defective!! The legs are uneven, the front of the couch is sagging and makes awful squeaky noises and not to mention the terrible looking back cushions that don’t even line up to form the beautiful corner lounge suite that it is supposed to be!! Anyway, I phoned the store the same day the replacement couch was delivered and the sales lady then shifts the blame to the resolution center by telling me the store can’t help beyond this point.

So I phoned the resolution center and tell them everything and the gentleman tells me that a Grafton Everest rep will come out to inspect the couch and I agree... fast forward 2 weeks, I get a call from a rather unprofessional man who says he is on his way to collect my couch at 6:30 in the evening and here I am still waiting for the Grafton Everest rep... I refused the pick up and continued to wait for this special rep to come and inspect the couch. After 2 months of no show, I called Bradlows resolution center again, only to be told that the complaint had been closed!! So I open up another one requesting a refund (which I am well within my right to do) and I have been pushed from pillar to post since then... each time I call I am being told a different story by different agents that answer the phone. I have asked for the complaint to be escalated and for regional managers details which no one seems to have.

I know the Grafton Everest brand. For years they have had a good reputation, and it’s so sad to see it being thrown down the drain by a mediocre furniture store like Bradlows!!

They even sent their drivers to an address which I have never lived at and then tell me “oh maybe they captured someone else’s address while busy with your stuff” really? Ever heard of POPIA???

STOP STALLING MY REFUND BRADLOWS PAROW, THE COUCH IS DEFECTIVE AND I WANT MY MONEY BACK!! GO READ YOUR RETURNS POLICY!!
