Bradlows inferior quality

I am very disgusted with the service I'm receiving from Bradlows. December 2019 I bought a Roma 3 piece lounge suite from the Bradlows store in Cleary Park Port Elizabeth.

In October 2020 I reported to the branch manager at the Cleary Park store that the 3 seater has a staple that got loose and was piercing through the leather of the 1 seat damaging the seat next to it as well.

A ticket/complaint was logged for it and I had to follow up numerous times wrt the repair/replacement of the couch.

They eventually called me just before the December holidays for collection but could not guarantee that the repairs/replacement would be completed before Christmas with the closure of the warehouses over that period.

I reported that to the manager and she advised that I need not to worry seeing that the incident had already been logged.

In March 2021 the warehouse made contact for the collection of the couch, and it was picked up on the 15th of March. A report was done on the damages and forwarded to the store manager.

To my surprise the manager advised me that the supplier came back saying that "I/we" the customer had damaged the couch.

I would like to know how in God's name I managed to loosen a staple that is sitting in such an awkward place between 2 seats?

I requested all the paperwork from the damage report and noticed that the pictures taken does not look like my couch. There is also a 2nd picture of damages to the side of the couch of which I'm not aware off. My couch only had the loose staple issue and never had any other damages.

I asked about the insurance and were advised that the insurance only cover damages due to fire, water, when its ****** or when someone comes and damage it during a break in - totally absurd!!!

What happened to the supplier's 24 months guarantee???

I am not taking this lying down!!! If Bradlows can't sort out their supplier, I will make sure this does not end here and you would hear from my lawyer if you don't sort out this matter.

It's totally unacceptable to pay a fortune a ****ty product.
