BAD CUSTOMER CARE AND POOR QUALITY PRODUCTS

I bought a bed "seally - Serta" on the 23 September 2023 it was on a Saturday. I paid for the bed around 09.23 and used my own transport to deliver the bed home. when i get home i opened the plastics and noticed (the base was damaged (cloth that covered the base was having holes on the side, also it had a grey colour on the edge of the base) i then took a picture at around 12h00 so that i can inform the store where i purchased the bed.

Because it was long weekend, i reported the matter to the on the 26th September 2023 to the sales person who was assisting me and then she requested that i sent her the pictures of the damage which i did. after few minutes, i received a call and the store assistant told me that the know nothing about the damage and the bed was inspected and satisfactory when it left the store.

I went to the store and explained to the store manager and showed her the pictures. She was confident that "SERTA" is selling the best quality and no one ever reported faults or defects after buying from them. Shen told me that the supplier will not accept the bed and i must be honest with her and agree that i dragged the bed then she will come up with something to tell the supplier.

I told her that i will not agree to something that it is not my fault. so according to her, i was just a drama queen who was just seeking attention and complaining about something that was not there. i even told her how on early will i damage the bed in less than 3hours after purchasing it to the point that the colours on the base are no longer the same? she said the bed was delivered directly from the warehouse and according to her there are no fault on it.

To date i have been waiting for her response regarding my complaint but she never called.

i told her if they dont want to replace the base, i need a full refund of the money i paid for bed.

This is very disappointing to receive a service like this from one of the shops i thought was the best. I believe that everything that it either man made or machine made can have defaults at time but according to the store manager that is not possible
