A wonderful place in theory. In practice, we still have non functional back-up generators, ancient elevators prone to getting stuck, very dark and dangerous emergency exits.

You pay premium prices to have little or no communication every time they cut off water and/or electricity. At least 2 weeks in month of either no water, no electricity or both. This forces you to buy take aways, taking you off budget. Fridge food goes bad. Communication? Still rotten! And they threaten not to give your deposit to you if you go early.

Imagine all the elderly or physically challenged who must walk up 28 floors when there’s no electricity - or being in labour or in another emergency when there’s no electricity?! Yet you must pay R7500 excluding electricity for a double bedroom.

When you complain, they treat residents as if they’re students. Halfway through your stay, they start charging for sleepovers and limiting visitors.

A lot more can be done to optimize the place with the revenue they make already.
