Disappointing Quality - Dull and Rusted After One Use

I was excited to get this BraaiPlank Hammer Forged Butcher Knife, especially because I love the size and heft of it. However, my excitement quickly turned to disappointment. After just one use—cutting nothing more than a banana and an apple—the blade became completely dull. I couldn’t believe how quickly the edge lost its sharpness.

To make matters worse, the blade started rusting after that single use. For a brand with such a reputation, I expected far better quality. I didn’t use it in any harsh conditions, yet the knife deteriorated almost immediately. Given the poor performance and rust issues, I will be asking for my money back. This product is a huge letdown, and I can’t recommend it to anyone looking for a knife that will last.
