Don’t use the Braai and fireplace man for anything!
I spent a fortune installing 2 new fireplaces in my home. The one installation was fine. The second fireplace did not draw and smoked out the house and then the flue leaks because it was not waterproofed. So I have had flood damage and had to replace ceilings and Re waterproof everything which was not done properly in the first place. The Braai and fireplace man shirked all responsibility, was absolutely unreliable in assisting with the problem and then he refused to do the repair blaming my builders of the room. He’s workmanship is shocking! I could not use the fireplace for the entire winter season. Don’t ever use his services for anything. I have subsequently been dealing with the Headoffice who supply the Infinity fireplace units and am hoping they will provide some sort of back up on the units going forward.
I have testimonials from my builder and from waterproof experts saying that the installation was a shoddy job and that the damage was caused by the Braai And Fireplace Man. I don’t suffer fools gladly. 7k Later the job has been fully repaired and the waterproofing is sorted out. I have videos proving that the rain was coming in through the roof through the fireplace where they worked. Infinity fires, the suppliers of the actual unit, have confirmed that they will honor the guarantee on the actual units themselves. Over and out and moving on.
