They put petrol in a diesel car and don't want to pay for the damage

On the 17th April 2025 my husband went to put diesel in his car he clearly stated that he wants diesel hence all his cars are using diesel.he drove from a short distance and the car just stopped,he called the machenic to assist and tow the car home cause it wont start at all.after the machenic inspected the car he told us they put petrol Wich was smelt on the diesel filters.we went to the garage same day printed the slip to be sure n yes they made mistake,we informed the night supervisor who said he can't help us we must bring the car to the garage but how when it's not starting? He said they don't pay for towing so we must hire a tow truck but how? When it's not our fault,he gave us his number to call the next day Wich he never answered so we went to the garage to get help cause this car is on Uber and my husband only income,the day supervisor Said he can't help us we waited for almost 2 hours he kept on saying the manager is not picking up his fone. After querying for some time he repeated the same thing that we must tow the car to Mitchell's plain where the manager is we refused cause it's a distance and we can't afford the tow truck,after 4 hours the night supervisor came and repeated the same thing we told him the procedure cause my husband did the petrol attended course he said they won't pay. We opted to make things easier for them and said we will ask a friend to tow the car cause that's cheaper the manager in Mitchells plain siad he will give us only 200 and the balance will be paid by the petrol attended who is not on duty only coming back Monday Wich means it's gonna be 3 days with the car not fixed.we called the lady after obtaining her number from the manager she said she will pay the balance Wich she did after a long hassel.this happened on the 18th and hopefully on the 19th we will tow the car to Mitchell's plain where the manager is and see if he can help us...they are very insensitive and don't know anything about costumer care we were there for 5 hours begging them to help,I'm 37 weeks pregnant and didn't need this kind of stress.the law says they must tow the car pump out the petrol and put the diesel Wich we wanted in the first place... On the tank it's clearly written diesel I don't know how they missed that.
