speed point not working

I went to BP garage ermelo De Wits Motors at about 20:15 today to fill up petrol the amount was R300 I gave the attendance my card bt it declined because the speedpoint was not working as he said, I went to bank to try and get cash I could get it seems the bank was offline and then I come back to the garage and told them I will bring the cash tomorrow morning he said leave your licence in a very rude way. The question is how do a customer leave ID, driving licence to a stranger petrol attendance in a garage coz those are confidential and secured things to give to a stranger. There was no need for them to be rude coz they knew that the speedpoint is not working he was suppose to ask if I was using cash or card their service is bad attendance are mean and very rude I will let my relatives be aware of BP Garage Ermelo De Wits Motor. Stand ther for an hour there is no need to be kind and mean based on my skin colour I hate that.
