****med by BP petrol attendant and no response from BP customer care

BP Customer care (contact email and telephonic) is beyond pathetic to say the least. I sent an email last Tuesday, 5 April, a follow up again two days later (also because their automated email states they will reply within 48 hours but this did not happen). On Friday I then phoned the customer care line and spoke to Luxolo who promised me he would get the service manager of BP Kenridge Motors to phone me on Monday to resolve my issue but this did not happen. I then again sent a follow up on Monday 11 April and still have not received any reply or apology from them. This is the issue I raised with them : On 26 March 2022 I put in R500 petrol at BP Kenridge Motors. As per the attached screenshot.

As soon as I drove off the petrol light went on and the needle guage on my vehicle went to zero. I then panicked and thought did the petrol attendant actually put in the petrol he charged me for or was there something wrong with my guage? I then went to another petrol station and put in R50 but the petrol light remained on.

I didn't use my vehicle after Sunday until Thursday 31 March and saw that the petrol light stayed on. I then made a booking to take my car in for a service on Monday 4 April and to have my petrol Guage looked at but on Sunday 3 April whilst I was driving on the M5 Highway my car cut out on the side of the road. I then had to contact my car insurance and they sent out a tow truck to take me home. On Monday 4 April I had to contact my insurance again to get them to tow my vehicle to a mechanic. As seen in the attached document from MiWay Insurance.

Today on collection of my vehicle they confirmed that there was no petrol in my vehicle, this after I just threw in R500 at Kenridge Motors and having only driven it again on Thursday then on Sunday whilst the petrol light remained on. There were no other mechanical issues with my vehicle for it to have cut out. As seen in the attached invoice from Dunlop.

This makes it very clear that the petrol attendant from BP Kenridge motors did not put in any petrol and ****med me after I paid for it. Because of this it cost me to have this fixed.

My issue here is what is going to be done about this? I feel that I was cheated R500 petrol by someone posing as a petrol attendant but actually ******** innocent people. How is this matter going to be resolved?
