****** sales people
On Saturday the 16th November 2024 I visited the BP N1 oasis in Johannesburg. I had stopped for fuel and a cold beverage as I was really tired after travelling the entire day. It was around 14:30 when I was parked outside the convenience store. I could have visited any other filling station however I choose BP because that is the only fuel which I fill and I'm trying gain BP rewards. While parked off I was approached by a young gentleman wearing a blue bucket hat and casual attire doing a display outside the wild bean cafe for car cleaning products. After he demonstrated the product on my car he insisted that I purchase the fw1 cleaning product. I politely declined as there were still scratches visible on my vehicle. This salesman in the blue bucket hat became ****** and said " I know your type, they don't take out money!" (REFERING TO INDIAN PEOPLE). IT'S REALLY SAD TO SEE THIS TYPE OF BEHAVIOUR IN A DEMOCRATIC SOUTH AFRICA! Part 2. I then proceeded to the pumps where I chose filled up R1000-00 95 petrol. The gentleman who assisted me was an old man by the name of Joseph. He was pleasant. However he refused to swipe my BP rewards card and my pick n pay smart shopper card. Upon asking him what the reason was he mentioned that the shift had changed and it was impossible to swipe the above 2 cards. Funny enough they could easily swipe my debit card for the payment. I enquired if there was a manager on site and Joseph said that the manager Donovan was busy. I requested that he call for Donavon and then Joseph said that he wasn't present. Lies upon lies. Joseph mentioned to me that the owner was a gentleman by the name of Anthony.
I have my cash slip as proof and I also have a photo of the attended Joseph. @Anthony (the owner), I suggest that to take full control of your filling station as your staff are not capable of running your business.
I'm really disgusted and disappointed at a brand which I've shown so much of loyalty to.
What happens to my points and rewards???
Sort your filling station out people, it's really bad for the brand.
Kindly contact me on either of my mobile numbers and not Via email.
I will not tolerate this type of negative service nor will I let this slide.
This issue will not be taken lightly and I'm considering taking legal action.
