Pathetic customer experience(Kempston Truck Stop BP fuel station)

It is with great disappointment that I write this mail regarding your BP filling station located in Bloemfontein, 1 Kort Street, Ferreira, Bloemfontein, trading as Kempston Truck Stop, owned by Vincemus Investments (PTY) LTD. I visited this business establishment on the 16 April 2022 to refill my tank for R500 at approximately 12:10am. I used the QR code as a payment method from my own banking App, which was successful on my side, which I also showed the attendant assisting me, but he said the receipt did not print on his side, which I understood then. I then used my wife's banking App to make the QR code payment, again, it was successful on our side but the receipt still did not print. I then asked to see the manager (Barend Stander) as I did not understand why are the two payments successful on our sides but not printing the receipt on their machine, he explained that their QR code option on their EFT/speed point machine is not linked to their business account (which was strange because the machine generated the code with the amount to be paid) and that the money will automatically be reversed back to my account by the bank, which I still did not understand as both transactions went through. He then advised that I transfer money to one of the petrol attendants to swipe for me as I did not have my card with me, which I did and the transaction was successful. Basically I ended up paying R1500 for a R500 petrol that day. To this date, my R1000 is still not yet been refunded and showed as a successful transaction on my bank accounts, it shows the recipient as Kempston Truck Stop on my bank statements. The manager, Barend Stander is very unprofessional and very rude as he showed no interest in resolving my matter, even after the stations Finance administrator indicated that they have a R1000 surplus for that day and for the same shift that assisted me. At this moment I have to use my resources, traveling back and forth to the garage, making phone calls to the garage regarding the update on this incident, whereas my money is lying in their establishment's bank account. I am very aggrieved with the level of customer service and unprofessionalism portrayed regarding this, even after I had showed them a proof (my bank statements) they are not willing to resolve it, all they say is that I should go ask my bank to reverse the funds, which is impractical as my funds are in their account as their transactions details for that day shows a R1000 surplus. Please assist!
