Hidden Bollard damaging vehicles

This afternoon I filled up my car with petrol at BP Cargo Motors Edenvale . While I was moving my vehicle to pump up my car tyres with the temporary compressor (the main one without lets by the petrol pumps was broken), I sc****d my car door on a steel bollard that is not visible from ones car (unless you drive a go cart). What upset me most about the incident was that the bollard in not visible from ones car, and to add to the issue the fuel attendant told me I am not the only person who has sc****d my car on the bollard, it is a usual occurrence as no one can see the bollard. One would have thought that BP • Firstly, would not place a bollard where no once can see it from their vehicle • Secondly if cars are constantly damaged by these bollard, the management of BP would make them higher and hence visible In light of the above I assume BP will pay for my panel beater account!
