employee exploitation and unfair labour practice

Is it a new BP rule or policy of which whenever a ******* occurs on site an employer must fire an employee just because he/she suspect that those employees on duty at that time are in on the ******* without any proof whatsoever??

In November-9-2016 a ******* occurred at around about 00:15 at BP KwaMashu service station where to ******s walked away with an amount estimated to be R110 000+ of which was kept on site out of the cash safe drop mechin because of the dealer's negligence of which showed that he cared less about his employees.

After the employees pleaded to him to bring in a second mechin since the new one was small and could not take up all the cash they make on site a day, the refused and said it would cost him more money and said whenever the mechin is full they should put all the money left out in a plastic bag and put it in the office drawer putting the employees lives at risk to have around that kind of cash on site. The cash would sometimes be amounted to about R150 000+.

For several weeks this kind of thing was going on until a ******* occurred on 09/11/2016 where two cashier employees were on duty that night and were beaten up by the armed ******s.

After a week or two the two cashier employees were cold in for a hearing in connection with the *******. These employees were both fired just because the dealer suspected them to be connected in the ******* without any tangible proof whatsoever.

Is this now how BP service stations operates?? By law this was not a fair labour practice both these employees were unfairly dismissed and sent home to suffer and their families because of the dealer's negligence and arrogance. Is this how now employers use their powers to victimise their employees for their own mistake??

It is clear that the dealer of KwaMashu BP service station cares less for his employees and more for his money.
