Dishonest Staff and inconsiderate management at the BP garage on Loveday street in Johannesburg Central, I urge the public to be cautious when using that Garage

<p>Good Day </p> <p>My review is to log a complaint against the staff and management at the BP garage on Loveday street in JHB CBD, as well as to caution people about using that garage.</p> <p>On the 24th April 2017, at approximatley 15.20pm I stopped at this garage to fill petrol in my car, I asked for R100 to be filled and paid with a R200 note, immediatley the attendant gave me 2 R50 notes as change which I took folded and put into my handbag then drove off back to work.</p> <p>I then stopped at the Kiosk, and upon paying for my goods I took out the change I recieved at the garage and one of the notes were a ****. I then checked the note with the cashier and we confirmed it was ****, so at 5.30pm as soon as I finished work, I drove back to the BP garage to advise them of this.</p> <p>The manager made it clear upfront that his 'BOSS' would ask us how he can confirm that we recieved the *****ulant note from his staff at his garage so we went through the staff to ask them to please advise which one of them helped us 2 hours earlier, and to confirm to their manager that they presented us with the notes as change. At that point each attandant had amnishia as no one could remember helping us, how convenient!</p> <p>I then suggested we check the reciepts so maybe that could give us more guidance and clarity and confirmation of our transaction at the time, the manager agreed first, and then later told us that there is so many customers that come to that garage in a day so how would they then find ours, it was too much of a mission for them, or they were not really bothered with assisting us.</p> <p>I asked them to pull the CCTV footage so that we could watch it and then identify the person who helped us so we could clear this issue, and then was told that their hard drive was full so they were unable to record and save footage and today my partner went back in hope of speaking to the senior manager but yet again excuses were given as to why they were unable to pull any footage etc.</p> <p>So to the public and consumers in JHB, I would highly recommend that YOU DO NOT USE THIS GARAGE for anything. They have no business ettiquette they are inconsiderate, and for taking our money and then giving us a **** note as change they are *********!</p> <p>I urge you all to please be extra careful if you do use that garage, please check your money once they give you change, they are dishonest people working there.</p> <p>They also basically said that because we cannot physically prove that we recieved the **** note from them, that they are not willing to do anything further to assist us, so I basically lost what could have been my last R50 note and they gained it by ******** practises. </p> <p>This is also extremely insulting as for them to even want to question as to why we didnt immediatley return when we recieved the note is not the issue, I have a job and an obligation to be there on time, I only realized once I took out that cash to pay for something at another store that I cannot trust the attendants, as they gave me **** money, so because I didnt scrutinize the note when I recieved it makes it my fault, is this the values and business ethics that they live by? </p> <p>I would not go all the way back to a garage to fight for a **** R50 note that I am trying to con them into beliving they gave me just to gain an extra R50 PLEASE I HAVE MORALS AND REAL VALUES, and was not brought up by dishonest people, so no its about the principal behind it, its about customer service, and about listening to the problem presented, trying to help by finding the best possible and fair solution and then resolving the issue at hand, none of this has been done, and I was left with a sorry but we cannot assist as the R50 would need to be taken out of our till and then we would be short that amount, so that is what they focus on their own pockets regardless of how they impact innocent people.</p> <p> </p> <p>THANK YOU BP GARAGE CNR LOVEDAY STREET IN JOHANNESBURG CBD you guys should not even be allowed to be open and running in my opinion, I would not support that garage ever again and I hope no one else does either!</p> <p>This is just the start of me exposing them I plan to put an article in the Sunday times newspaper next as my father works for the media and I am going to ensure that I expose them for what has been done, even if it costs me more that R50 to do it I will because of how unfairly I have been treated!</p>
