Disappointing service at BP garage Bara, Soweto

I visited BP Garage Bara on Sunday, 7 December 2025 to fill up and asked Ronald, the petrol attendant to check my tyres. A few minutes after driving off I heard a strange noise and discovered a damaged, flat tyre with no valve. I returned the car, reported the issue and was told the manager would call me after speaking with the owner the next day.

The following day no call came through and I returned to the garage but I was told to wait again for the owner to sort it out. I called again this morning 9 December 2025 as I have to take a long distance trip and was eventually told they couldn’t help because “it’s not their fault.” When I went in person again, they were very rude, refused to discuss the matter, claimed that they had CCTV footage proving they weren’t responsible, yet they refused to show it. The staff and owner were very rude and told me to go anywhere I may get help. Despite multiple attempts to resolve this, BP Garage Bara has not offered any assistance or compensation for the tyre replacement and the inconvenience caused. My tyres are still very new as they recently bought. I cannot recommend this station to anyone. I hope the BP head office reviews this and addresses the poor customer service of BP Bara, Soweto.
