BP - Water in Tanks

<p>Good day,</p> <p> </p> <p>We filled up our vehicle which was completely empty at the BP Garage in Gonubie on Thursday night 23rd Febraury. We had driven staright home.</p> <p>However on the Friday morning, we were unable to start our vehicle, causing us to be late for work and arrangements for our children to get to school.</p> <p>Upon calling our mechanic, we discovered water in our tank. Our vehicle is a 2004 Peugeot 2.0HDI 206. My husband had then taken a sample of the water to BP Garage and asked to see the manager Trevor, who was not in. We were give a home contact number which we called and left a message. We are still waiting for his call...</p> <p>In the meantime, we have replaced our diesel filter which we thought would rectify the problem. However after draining 50ltrs of this "diesel" water and our mechanic finding out diesel pump has been affected, we have had to borrow a friend's car which is a convinient and now sit with the cost of a new diesel pump!!!</p> <p>I have in the meantime mailed a complaint to BP Global with no response as well as to the lengths of mailing someone in BP Africa as well no response. I have tried contacting BP Johannesburg on ********** and East London on ********** to no avail.</p> <p>I do not see how this is a cost we should take upon ourselves. BP has surveilance camera's for investigation. Added to this a friend has mentioned that upon filing up after we had they were pumping out the tanks and when asked what they doing, their reply was they pumping water out of the tanks!!!!!!!!</p> <p>I am on the verge no of taking this to all social media and whatever other means to resolve my issue of not having a vehicle and the costs involved to repair.</p>
