BP South Africa, has the most unprofessional HR And Principle Officer(Provident Fund)
My beloved steph mother in law passed away one year and one month ago. Shireen Hollander was her name and she was married to Jan Hollander. After her passing Mr. Hollander who is my father in had to pay for the funeral out of his pocket as her mother received her death benefit and never contributed a cent to her own child's funeral. We started the process to claim her Provident fund from BP South Africa. This was and still is a miserable experience I ever experienced, the HR that handles the death benefit claim is a joke, as they advise you they lack the experience. They have a Principle Officer: Thabisiwe Mlotshwa. I only know her email address as this women do not respond to emails, the most unprofessional and the most inhumane person of the lot. These are the kind of people that drowns a companies reputation. Mr. Hollander ia a pensioner and had to use all the finances he had to burrie his wife, he lost his flat and car due to this, however the people at BP drags out paying him the provident fund money. They made the mother a 50% beneficiary, they did every thing to get into contact with her, now there was an end date to submit your documents which was 30 July 2020. They did not submit, however Mr. Hollander who has timely send in his documents are now being punished to wait till the other party producers their papers. This is an unfair practice as there are separate individuals giving their documents, so why punish the person who adheres to the deadline rules? I think BP South Africa and especially their principle officer Thabisiwe Mlotshwa should be really ashamed of themselves for the abuse and mistreatment of the elderly. Shame on you.
