BP SERVICE STATION AT CAPE TOWN INTERNATIONAL processing refuelling costs twice- TRAVELLER BEWARE!!!
i filled my rental car at the BP service station at the CAPE TOWN INTERNATIONAL AirPORT on the 11 November 2022, . when i got home and checked my credit card statement , i saw that i was debited for the refuelling charge on the !5 November 2022 , and AGAIN on the 16 November 2022 , for the same charge. the credit card company advised that Ï MUST CONTACT THE MERCHANT"??? how do you contact the merchant that is a petrol station , with no phone number on the sales slip, or email address? i am sure that this could be a regular occurence at this BP pertol station at the cape town airport , as it is busy with rental car return refuelling , and passangers both local , and overseas , rushing to get the rental car refuelled and back to the airport. i have heard of similar complaints from other customers using this station , so i made a point of specifically checking my statement. i now await ABSA to contact the Merchant and make the neccessary refund. Travellers beware !!
