BP refuses to swipe/tap cards under certain amounts.
BP, President Paul Kruger Avenue, Bloemfontein 06/25/20 07:30am. Service on the forecourt is fine but the shop leaves very little for desire. Lady having a fat chat with her friends while you stand there waiting to buy something. I was thirsty so I stopped by to grab a coldrink and packet of chips. Was refused service because apparently they refuse to accept a card as payment if you don't spend a certain amount?? I suppose purchases under R50 or so are easier to keep off the books and I suspect some ********* business practices going on there, far as I know it's ******* to refuse legal tender in the form of a card if the company has card facilities. Very poor service from a rude cashier. BP doesn't want or need your money so I suggest taking your business elsewhere.

More specifically 30 President Paul Kruger Ave, Universitas, Bloemfontein, 9321.
Regarding my review/complaint, I did not make the purchase of the coldrink and packet of chips as I don't ever carry cash on me - I have a master card and also an american express both of which are Nedbank - I simply walked out and went to an Engen garage where they were happy to help me.
I frequent the service station for fuel as it is on my route and pay with my master card because they also don't accept american express at all.
