BP Jean AVENUE, Centurion - ROBBING CLIENTS

On Tuesday evening 12th August 2025, I went to BP Jean Avenue and threw in R200 worth of diesel in my bakkie, the km or the gauge on my dashboard did not move at all, I asked the gentlemen jokingly if he actually threw diesel in, to which he confirmed he did. I thought that maybe because it was cold and the tank was empty the needle would take a while to catch up, however the next morning it still did not move - bear in mind with R200 it always moves even if it's just the KM - I went back to the same garage and requested CCTV footage, however the area of the diesel cap where you put it into the bakkie is obscured on the CCTV footage. I then went to that same pump and threw in another R200 the needle still did not move. I though maybe something is wrong with my bakkie. Today Thursday, on my way to Unitas my bakkie ran out of diesel and I was stuck on the side of the road. After getting towed back home, I took 3 clear 5L bottles and went back to the same BP and asked them when last did the trucks come to fill the under ground tanks, and the guy said, you just missed them - we put diesel in those bottels R310 and brought them back home, poured them in ourselves and the bakkie started and the gauge lifted to 216KM - we have record and video evidence of all of this. I am sure I am not the first person this has happend to. Discovery Vitality & Discovery South Africa we used the BP so that we can get points for vitality and this is something you should be aware of.
