BP Head Office won't act
Visited Port Elizabeth from Cape Town, after filling up the attendent did not take the nozzle out, this is after I had paid and we had done our byes. So as I was driving off the pipe dislodged from the pump station and damaged the vehicle's tail light. Attendant said "I will have to pay for this and am going to lose my job", I didn't want him to lose his job. My nightmare started as I then asked for the business phone number as they said the manager was not there, the lady at glass kiosk refused to give me the business contact. Only when the attendent told her to give me the number did she do so. One back in Cape Town I called the garage a few times that is when I got the manager's cellphone number, initially they didn't want to give it to me. Upon chatting on WhatsApp the manager gave me the attendent' cellphone number, told me I must sort it out with him, as if the was a person matter for the attendent. Nightmare continued as I got to contact head office but they wouldn't help really. Head Office should have asked for footage of the incident to establish if procedures were followed, when was transaction closed and was the nozzle still in and why. Head Office failed to be the arbiter in this case, they kept giving me a he said you said story. I insisted that I should have the car repaired, don't want to make money out of the incident, even sent them the quote from Honda and the banking details, so no money gets paid to me or the owner of the car but both Fiveways and BP Head Office have just stonewalled me
