BP fuel coupons

As a consumer I am utterly disappointed by the lack of services I have received from one of BP fuel stations.

I recently bought three R100 fuel vouchers from Vodacom vodabucks online shop. I was informed that the vouchers will expire by the end of this month and that I can utilise it any any BP station before then.

On Sunday night at 8pm I drove to one of your fill up station in Lenasia Nirvana Johannesburg as I was in dire need of fuel. I decided to use the fuel vouchers before it expires to my needs but little did I know that I will receive the most appalling service ever.

Before I asked the petrol attended to fill up I decided to ask him if he knows how to use the fuel voucher. He looked at me like I'm talking foreign. He noted and said he does not know what that is about. So he informed me to speak to his superior. I politely asked if he can call his manager on site to assist me and to my surprise he said there was no manager on site. I asked him if I can perhaps get the manager's details to call him for assistance but the attended refused and claimed that the managers phone is broken. So I asked who is running everything when there is no supervisor on site. He then called his colleague "Sam" who is now the so called head petrol attended. He then stated he will provide me with the managers details as his not sure about the vouchers. Which is contradicting what his colleague said earlier about the manager that does not have a phone!

I called the manager "Shenga"on his number *** but the phone just kept on ringing and went to voicemail. I then decided to call BP help desk *** as I needed this problem resolved so that I cannot lose the money I spent to buy those fuel vouchers. To my surprise the BP guy at help desk informed me that all BP stations was well trained and equipped regarding the fuel vouchers. He asked if I can hand the phone to the attended and he will guide him along the process of cashing in the vouchers. Sam the head petrol attended spoke to help desk and to my surprise his reasons changed from "not knowing" to "manager never approved on the use of vouchers" Sam told the guy that his manager said they cannot use vouchers if his not there.

This is the most appalling thing I've seen. People making up so many stories just not to service me accordingly. I had to pay for fuel using my last pocket money for bread and milk because BP Nirvana does not know about vouchers and I was told to drive to another BP for help? So I drove to three other BP stations, Crownmines, Ontdekkers and Florida. Same issues. I am tired of all this excuses.

I logged complaints on your email but no response. Just got reference numbers that means nothing Ref ***3 and ref ***1
