BP and pick n pay makes us fools

Since pick n pay and BP said we can swipe smart shoppers card, I passes all filling stations to refill at BP, just after I filled my tank when I have to pay and I produced my smart shoppers card, the attendant told me that she cannot swipe card because I am paying cash. This was a surprise to me cause I use cash everyday at BP and use rewards card. She told me that they told mangent about the sipping machine that is not linked to smartshoppers card and they do nothing about that.. I wrote to pick n pay and is about 3 days now and I had no response from them.
