Bad Experience at BP Clubview.
BP and Pick N Pay are running a competition, If you fill up with R600 or more you get an entry to get a car. I went to the BP in Clubview yesterday and wanted an entry however my car only went to R570. I asked if they could fill an empty container to get the amount to over R600. They were happy to help until they saw my fleet card. I tried to suggest that I will pay the Difference in cash, but seeing the fleet card shut the willingness to help, and it escalated to where we ended up shouting at each other. All I wanted was an entry to get my 4 year old daughter an opportunity to get a car as he loves car. Where this became an issue is the Manager Louisa, threated to call the police on my for *****. She also terrorised my daughter where my daughter ended up begging her not to call the police. Question 1. I was not committing *****, My fleet card is registered to my car, I would have paid the R30 odd difference in cash provided the final amount was R600, on the Pick n Pay slip[. The Invoice for the petrol could be the same as the petrol. Louise was closed minded and would not listen to me to figure this out. She is not a manager material and her shouting clients is not helpful to the BP. Going forward, I will drive out of my way to avoid that BP. Secondly Shouting at clients and threatening them, is harmful to the business, and she should be removed just because she does not have people skills. All this could have been avoided, with a little people skills and willingness to work together. Louisa does not have this skill, so she should not be a manager. I am offended at being accused of committing *****, I did no such thing, and Secondly Causing my 4-year-old daughter trauma because she has to show everyone, she is the Boss. She is in the client service industry, She should learn to treat clients with respect, even if she disagrees with them. She should also learn to listen, as she does not have that skill whatseover.
Hope you are well.
