Bova Munich safety boot

My company bought me a Bova Munich Boot in March 2018. It comes with a 6month warranty but I never pay attention to it as I always thought Bova was a good brand. After 7 months it was raining and I noticed my socks were wet in my boots, only to look underneath and see both boots were cracked badly (lucky I never step in any chemicals). When taking the boot back to the supplier who was Safety and Al****. They told me that nothing could be done because the warranty was over. I am appalled that a boot that was R590 can only last 7 months. I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER BOVA BOOT!! When a cheaper boot has never given me this problem.
