Double Standards
I have been to bounce a few times and have enjoyed it everytime! Being able to practice and perfect your tricks in a safe way is the reason I kept going back and even get my family and friends to join in but this has unfortunately changed from today after having a terrible experience where I was in short told not to practice doing a gainer (backflip moving forward) into a big air bag (like a foam pit) as the staff felt that she did not have the s****s to teach me how to do it, not that I was hurting myself nor asking for them to teach me as I can do this trick and even performed it infront of other staff members in every other area, even between trampolines and even over obstacles! My biggest problem with this whole issue was the double standards between every staff member I encountered as it was perfectly fine to do this in other areas where the chances of hurting myself was massively greater than a foam pit and not to mention there were kids half my age/height performing tricks such as a double backflip 180 which was perfectly fine and seen as not a problem... REALLY??? So after being told that I can't do what I came to Bounce Inc to do I then asked for a refund which again I experienced double standards by the staff with one staff member willing to give me a refund and then a manager (Jason Baxter) refusing to give me a refund nor a voucher because of my frastrating anger. I informed Jason that I do not want a voucher as it will be the same issue next time and don't want to have this experience again so would rather cut ties completely with Bounce Inc. I eventually spoke to the venue manager (Tshina) who aided me in getting my refund (40 min later). I then read the entire terms and conditions and all signage to ensure I was following the rules while waiting for my family and friends to finish their session and to my surprise I was breaking a rule such as doing tricks onto the padded areas around the trampoline which I was not told to stop by the staff. I then asked another staff member to show me on the terms and conditions where I was not following the rules, just to be told that it's not stated there but on the website... I am not sure how that works but I went home to read the website which also I did not see anything but cam across something that states the following "A critical part of this is a safe and soft landing and a safe environment to enjoy a real sense of freedom", this feels like the exact opposite to me!!!
