annoying and clueless - Boulderson and their clients
I received multiple emails, with attachments and threats, demanding payment for a hospital visit for person A. Apparently, A sought treatment at a local hospital and was seen by an intern. Now, the "night doctor", who was never there but schedules interns, wants payment. I emailed Nondumiso Zwane from Boulderson's back saying that I kept telling her that this email was not A's, which she ignored. I then received a reply that I must confirm that either I do not know A or if I do, I should furnish them with A's email. I rep**** that I do not deal with debt collectors and that I would block them. I spoke with Boulderson's manager, Janine Christensen, about whether they had followed proper protocol in sending a registered letter of demand to A and about their not contacting me. Janine claimed these letters of demand were the responsibility of their client and "they had every right to contact me". I contacted their client and spoke with their manager. Undoubtedly, she was the stupidest person whom I have ever met. She confirmed that no registered letter of demand was sent as she never heard of such a thing (only in National Credit Act of 2005) and if it was necessary, Boulderson and Associates would have told her of the need to do so. Hence, Boulderson's and their clients deserve each other - both are at the same level.
It seems like you are representing the person we are collecting on and I would need confirmation that they would like you to handle this matter for them. ". Once again, as per the review, I never claimed that I represented the person being collected on but rather that Boulderson either treated me as the debtor or some sort of intermediary. Hence, Boulderson seems to claim that I am required that I send them documents that are not needed. Furthermore, as per admission of their client, a registered letter was never sent to the debtor. Consequently, any actions of Boulderson, as debt collector, would be legally dubious.
