I wish I had read the reviews before purchasing. Here's our "sad story" We bought a Bosch Serie 4 dishwasher in May 2020 and were happy with the Bosch brand. We then ordered our Serie 6 washing machine and Serie 4 tumble dryer. The tumble dryer exceeded our expectations. Our washing machine, however, arrived defective and the process to exchange a faulty washing machine has been detestible. Bosch welcomes repairing the machine. Why we want a new machine:

Our machine was delivered with a very unusual problem that has now become our problem. The water pours into it as soon as the door is closed. Even when the drain/spin cycle is on the water never stops. In order to use the machine we would have to babysit it and turn the feeding tap on and off whenever the water supply needed to be fed or stopped. And the water never heats up. It is only cold.

The Bosch technician explained that the solenoid is working properly but that it is not communicating with the electronic board, so the water supply simply never switches off. In order to assess it he removed the entire top and lay under the bottom of the machine, with it tilted up. Something I would expect to see of an old, delapidated machine.

We don't want a repair on a brand new R7999 machine and are not confident using a machine that needs a repair new-out-of-the-box. We would like a new machine. We were called on Friday to say one would be delivered by 15 July 2020 , by 19 August we were exasperated enough to buy another through another company. Let's hope there is some lovely resolve to this story soon.
