Invented for Life....NOT.

Purchased a 326L Bosch Fridge and seperate 246L freezer on-line from Makro on the 29/3/2016. Both were installed on 10/7/2017 after my kitchen was installed by Coles Kitchens. Sent message to Makro on 12/7/2019 and Bosch 18/7/2019 regards the black fluid at the bottom of both appliances. Makro did not respond, Bosch rep**** that the 'protective coating' has been damaged allowing rust to enter...end of story. I feel these appliances are inadequately protected for coastal regions even though they are sold here. 1) within the first year of use the decals just come off. 2) freezer doors are poor design and appear to be manufactured of poor plastic. 3) doors are one inch above the ground (toe crunchers).

If the 'protective coating' which is one inch above ground level is compromised the appliance will very quickly become s****. Their logo is 'INVENTED FOR LIFE'. Surely some engineer would have put a protective strip on the doors to prevent this ? The appliances are 4 years old and will never get to the the age of my LG, Indesit, Philips or Fuchsware appliances of the past. I have friends who have the same combination and their appliances rust on the top edge, also the door and their freezer doors are also broken.

These are expensive appliances and I expected far better quality from Bosch.
