Disgusting service

I logged a service call to repair a faulty dishwasher on the 5th January 2017.

Siemens appointed Linden Appliances and they came to diagnose the problem on the 6th January.

They advised that the display board was faulty and needed to be replaced. The part was then ordered and they replaced the screen approximately 2 weeks later. While replacing the display board the technicians then advised that the on off button was broken. It should be noted that there was no fault with the on off button prior to the technicians dismantling the unit.

A new on off button was then ordered and the technicians returned to fit it. After fitting the on off button the dishwasher was still not working. When I inspected the dishwasher I saw that the new screen was doing the exact same thing as when I originally called them out – red lines with no text. When I questioned the technician about this he told me that they had originally misdiagnosed the fault and that there was nothing wrong with the original screen and that they thought the fault was now with the PC board. I then told the technician that if that was the case I wanted the old screen back and that they must give me a credit for it. The technician said he would look for the screen.

At the beginning of February while the above was taking place I phoned Siemens to complain about Linden Appliances and was advised that the issue would be looked into.

On the 23rd February I then received an sms from Siemens that the service call had been closed - note that the dishwasher was still not working and I had received no credit for the monies that I had paid to have the dishwasher fixed.

I have since contacted Siemens on a weekly basis and have been promised on each occasion that the matter has been escalated and is being looked into but no one has resolved the issue and the dishwasher is still not working 2.5 months later.
