Disappointed with the brand and after service

I bought a hob from bosch which worked for just about a year, I lodged a claim since it was till under warranty and was told the damage is not covered by warranty "MODULE RELAY AND HILIGHT HOTPLATES DEFECTED" It got worse because when I requested for a quote to fix it myself was quoted 2X the amount I ought it for. I bought it because I was told its good brand but would not recommend it based on my experience.
