Customer must follow up with spares

I have been waiting for weeks for spares. First time it is one thing and then the next week it is something else. my dear Bosch dishwasher is starting to become the bane of my life. So I called the call centre tomorrow to be told that they would be coming tomorrow. I asked for confirmation from the agent who called the technician who said the part was not available (after I was told last week it was and they would be coming on Friday).

So i said how do we follow up to see where this part was and the response that I was given was the spares department contact number.. So i enquired if it was my job to follow up on spares or customer service and I was told that she was trying to help me by giving me the spares number. I asked who do i speak to and what do I ask for and I was told just give who ever answers the reference number.

So i enquired if I as the customer need to chase up the internal divisions or is that what customer service does?

Cut a long story short, I need to chase up the spares department. Does that mean once I find it do I need to track down the repairman to fix it or should I go and fetch the part to make it easier for Bosch.

Really Bosch, whose job is this???
