Bosch - worst premium brand

I have a Bosch Dishwasher, the Circulation pump has packed up and I need a new one. I can not order a new one as the model number on the machine door has rubbed off from all the use! Bosch says I can not take photos and send it them of the part I need as I need to take the actual part in to the Sandton branch. Is this the service we get for buying a "premium"brand? I could have just bought a cheaper brand as it would seem the service is just as pathetic from these so called premium brands!! Also who puts a model number on the door where it seals? surely you can think that it will dissaper over time as its just printed on a sticker stuck to the door?
