BOSCH WASHING MACHINE

I bought a Bosch 13kg Serie 6 top loader washing machine at Makro Vaal, Vanderbijlpark in January 2019 (2 year guarantee). On all the cycles with 2 rinses, the washing is rotated and rinsed, except on the COTTON cycle. On the second rinse the water is merely taken in, the machine stands still for about a minute and then the water is let out and the spinning commences. I went back to Makro and they lodged a complaint with Bosch SA who sent a technician to test the machine. He did the testing on the QUICK cycle (only has 1 rinse) because the cotton cycle would take too long (his words), and of course, the washing was rotated and rinsed properly. I did not accept this and requested that Bosch either replace the machine with a proper working machine or that my money be refunded and was informed that he would forward my request to Bosch SA as it was not his decision to make. After waiting 2 weeks, I phoned Bosch SA in Johannesburg and was informed that my complaint had been finalised as "product info" as this was how the machine works. My question is this: how is it possible that only the COTTON cycle does NOT rotate and rinse the washing on the second rinse, while all the other cycles with 2 rinses do? Am I just being fobbed off or was I sold a disfunctional machine in the first place?
