Bosch Wash Machine Rusting after 16 months - Wait till you read the Reason!!!

I purchased a Bosch wash machine 6 series from Hirsch exactly 16 months old to date. I noticed rust at the bottom seam only on 1 of the plane sides. I am aware that Bosch does not cover rust, but since it is still under warranty I logged a call for service to be rendered to come check the cause. Technician arrived and they took 5 min to assess and left. I was then called by the supervisor, Warren who reported that because I had a stainless steel bin next to the machine it possibly led to the rust. Mind you there is absolutely no rust on the bin. For the life of me I could not understand his reasoning. My conclusion I will never trust purchasing the brand again.
