Bosch: "Call us, we wont call you!"

Bought a Bosch oven and hob.

The very first day of use the hob controller broke.

I contacted the service department and a few days later I received an SMS. The SMS read: a ticket was logged, and if you do not hear anything back from us, call us on ***. Why would you forward such an SMS to your customers? Are they forwarding their contact details to customers just in case they forget to phone them back, are perhaps lose their number, or their call centre burns down in a freak accident? There is absolutely no logical reason to do this, except they are not willing to waist their money or time phoning customers, it is the customer's job to chase up on Bosch. And this is exactly how it turned out. I have had to chase up on them every step of the way for almost a month now, and no closer to getting the oven fixed. R6000 down the drain for a useless piece of ****, and a completely unwilling service department.
