AI enhanced photos - misleading.

I spoke to the Operations Manager at Bosch Properties in Port Elizabeth regarding several Property24 listings where the photos appear to have been enhanced using AI. My concern is that these images materially alter the appearance of the properties and may create unrealistic expectations for prospective buyers. During our discussion, Uresh Pillay indicated that the matter would be investigated and addressed. However, this was difficult to reconcile with comments suggesting that he did not understand how the use of AI-enhanced images could affect consumers.

The issue is straightforward: property listings should accurately represent the property being marketed. When AI enhancement materially changes the appearance of a property, it can be misleading and undermines trust in the platform and its advertisers. Whether intentional or not, the use of images that do not accurately reflect a property's actual condition raises ethical concerns and should be reviewed as a matter of urgency.
