The most Greedy dishonest workshop ever

I am not one to go out of my way to write a review on google but feel it necessary to warn others of the practices I have experienced at Cendiesel.

I was referred to Cendiesel by another workshop regarding a leaking diesel pump causing my car not to start. I was then charged to have the pump removed and tested only to hear two weeks later that the pump had no issues and all 4 injectors were faulty and needed to be replaced.

I approved the work I was quoted for trusting that this would fix the issue. After the work was completed I had received the car back and found that it was still pouring diesel and struggling to start, additionally I had found that my side mirror was now broken. Cendiesel denies any fault in this. Not wanting to fight it and giving them the benefit of the doubt I ended up buying a replacement mirror.

After the car was returned the second time, I was told that the pump was tested while on the vehicle the first time and would this time be removed to be tested on special equipment. A whole month went by and I finally received feedback that Cendiesel did not have the power to run the equipment needed and the pump therefore needed to go to another workshop and would be tested for an additional fee.

Fastforward another few weeks I had received feedback that the pump is faulty and needs to be reconditioned with a bill nearing a further R33,000 above the original amount of R26,000 for the injectors. Trying to save myself some money I ended buying another secondhand pump for a fraction of the price and handing it over to Cendiesel to be installed. I was then charged an additional test fee for the second pump only to be told that this pump is also bad but they will take the pump and write off the test fee for that pump.

I was now left paying the final bill of R46,000 to get my car back. I had collected the vehicle and this time found that my windshield is cracked. Again Cendiesel denies knowing anything about the crack claiming it was cracked before the car arrived. I was then told to get a report from PG glass to state that the windshield was damaged and not just cracked from the sun. I got the report and forwarded it to the garage where PG glass clearly stated that the glass was cracked due to pressure put on it. I was then told that they would still not pay for the damages as the windshield was cracked before they got the car. Furthermore I had some other small cosmetic damages done to my vehicle from standing in out in the weather for close to 6 months and oil all over my seats from engine parts just thrown into the car. I also found that a lot of the original nuts and bolts were missing with odd nuts and bolts installed instead.

I had sent my grievances to Bosch head office only to be ignored. I never felt that as a paying customer, I was taken care of, only another way to make a quick buck.
