Don't go to this business.

I have just had the most unpleasant experience in my 52 years of motoring in this country.

I received a quote from them via email to repair an older car's tie rod ends which was a competitive price. When we took the car in, we were asked how we knew it was specifically the tie rod ends, to which we responded that a panel beater had told us so. We were then offered an inspection of the suspension to check that this was correct, and we agreed. We were also told that the inspection fee would be R1 750.00 refundable against any work undertaken. They then undertook, against our wishes, an inspection of EVERY part of the car, and came up with a cost of over R34 000.00, including stuff we had not asked for! They told us that the tie rod ends were fine, so we decided to replace the front brake pads which were quoted at around the amount of the inspection fee. When we arrived a week later to have the brake pads replaced, the story suddenly changed and were told that the fee was only refundable if we undertook all the repairs. This was NOT what was originally explained to us. I had even clarified the point on numerous occasions.

What really got to me was that the owner told me on the telephone that he had overheard his service advisor telling me that we had to take the whole quote or lose the inspection fee, yet he was nowhere to be seen!

I may be a pensioner, but I haven't lost my marbles yet. They just keep moving the goalposts and think their customers are stupid.

So, please be careful about this company
